Stephanie Winemiller

Welcome, Friendship Families!

From the moment I accepted the principal position at Friendship Elementary School in 2019, I have remained dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative school environment. Dr. Stone, our assistant principal, and I, along with the Friendship teachers and staff, are committed to establishing strong partnerships with students’ families by creating open communication channels, providing opportunities for family involvement, and valuing transparency. At Friendship, we believe every child has the ability to learn, grow, and accomplish their hopes and dreams!

When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my husband Travis, our daughters, Edie and Elin, and our goldendoodle Paisley.  I also love reading, watching movies, and going to the beach.

Dr. Winemiller's Background:

Dr. Winemiller is a graduate of Red Lion Area Senior High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from York College, as well as two Master’s Degrees and a Doctoral Degree from Drexel University. The 2024-2025 school year is Dr. Winemiller’s nineteenth year in public education. During this time, she served as an assistant principal and prior to becoming a Warrior, she spent nine years as an elementary school teacher.
